The Older We Get the Better We Look

This entry is promted by an email I just recieved from Sabrina. It got me thinking about growing older and living life. Now you all know, that we have only gotten better with age thus far. However, as the hands of time slowly start to change our bodies, and minds for that matter, we notice that maybe time hasn't been as kind to us as we thought. I tell you this though, all I know is that I had better be married by the time I'm 35*. Also, I had better age fairly well, and have had a lot of damn fun doing so. But if worse comes to worse, and I look like this....

Please feel free to put me to rest.

*Due to my already increasing age and the fact that I'm still completely single, my latest marital age has risen Posted by Picasa

Time Flies

So, here I am thinking. How many things have happened just a couple of months. Mickayla started school, she turned 5, and now...NOW, she's lost her first tooth. It's crazy. I can't believe. Now she's growing up. It seemed to me just the other day that she was still my little girl. But no, now she's my big girl. The soon to be teenager that I won't be able to control and who will not need her mommy anymore. Then what. Oh, sad....it's sooo sad. But going back to my reasoning for starting this blog. Yes, I know that it says it's about me...but really you all knew better. It's really Cass on Mickayla A story of growing up fabulous. And our story starts here. With a little 5 year old princess, for lack of a better word, in all her glory. It really is an emotional story. I laughed I cried and now I deal. Last night Mickayla came to me so excited. She had her first loose tooth...and it wasn't as one might think...just a little loose, it was ready to come out. Now, just a couple of days ago I thought she just hoped she had a loose tooth, cause the thing barely moved...now it was hanging out of her mouth. Well, grandma, being so much braver than I, wrapped a piece of dental floss around it said hold still and Mickayla braced herself and out it popped...blahhhh...anyway...here's my girl in all her glory....Say hello to Toothless McGee
