Who Ever Thought I'd be Happy to be Single
So, this weekend was a bust...and I'm so so very okay with it. It didn't faze me at all 4 or 5 missed calls...one hell of a bad read and I am happier than ever to be single. First of all, 2 dates, that's really all there were...only knew the guy for like 3 weeks and yet it was a "relationship". I cannot give you the full affect of what I read, but I can highlight a couple things said. First off, I do not like being referred to as a type. Let alone a type that would fall under "classic big girl" catergory. Also, I don't like to her girls falling under the "stick with tits" catagory either. Also, I cannot remember a time when I was called unthoughtful. Yes, I did say unthoughtful. Because I was talking about something that happened to Darrin at school. There is more, but you should read it for yourself on his site. Yeah, I'm a bit pissed.
So, for all you, here is my top 5 reasons why it's good to be single.
5. I can come and go as I please, and don't have to check my phone every ten minutes and worry that I missed his call and then worry how mad, sad, or "hurt" he is that I didn't call back right that second.
4. I can vent to my girlfriends rather than him, and don't have to worry about whether or not something that happened to me, has hurt their feelings by talking about it (again refer to website).
3. I don't have to listen to someone whine about all their problems (mental health included) *again website
2. I don't have to worry about whether I'm too skinny or too fat.
1. I don't have to listen to how I compare or don't compare to an old girlfriend or ex wife.

Right on, Cass!!!
Good for you Cass, seriously! I'd be hella pissed, too.
Cass OMG that is fucking CRAAAZZAAYYYYY. I'm so proud of you for keeping your eyes open on this one and not settling for something that isn't good enough for you.
We should throw a "Thank God Cassie is Single Party" over Easter ;)
I LOVE YOU
I'm up for that Party Beeth...
Jen, you can be a phone in guest...then we'll hold another one when you get here...
I hope you all read what he wrote...AAAAASSSSHHHHHOOOOOLLLLEEE
I am sorry the term 'big girl' offended you. It was not an insult.
But you know, real women have curves. Some I know wear 'big girl' with honor as more and more men are coming out saying they prefer it. Does 'baby got back' offend you too? Grow up.
I didn't call you unthoughtful. READ IT CAREFULLY. Sound out the big words if it helps.
And if I, in trying to make sense of the feelings I was having, thought it MUST mean a relationship is there, who are you, in your self-admitted lack of experience, to tell anyone if it was or wasn't. Plenty of relationships start with a good chat, an all night ride and five hour talk on the phone. Granted, it's rarer, but how the hell would you know one way or another.
I think it's more like this: you dug me enough to chase me that night. I was way too nice from what you're used to, which freaked you out. But you are just a kid and think a good relationship is one where you don't have to give anything and it just 'happens'. You would have just shrugged me off, but you accidentally let your dad find out, who rallied everyone to get you to not toss it away. You then saw me as a chance to get them off your back as you're getting a little old to be living under mom and dad's protection but you don't want it to end. With me in the picture, but at a great distance, you can have all your little party girl fun and satisfy your folks honest desire for you to do something with yourself. But I messed all that up didn't I? 'Wait though, if I twist his words and act all hurt and stuff, I can buy more time with 'you guys don't know what's right for me, see!' and suck off them for a few more years.
I have relatives like you. Again, grow up.
Oh no he didn't!
Cassie, please clarify. Was your dad trying to rally people to get you to date this dude??? Or was he just getting a good laugh out of a guy who's obviously a drama queen? I know Bob pretty well and I'm betting on the latter.
This guy is ridiculous, and if anyone needs to grow up, it's him! If you want to talk about immature - let's talk about guys that think they know so much about relationships, yet think they're in one after 2 dates. In my opinion (and I've had my share of experience with relationships), 2 dates does NOT constitute a relationship, and certainly doesn't constitute this much of an uproar from this guy. He needs to just let it go and move on.
Cassie - We need to start working on that celebratory party that Beeth was talking about. Of course - we can be celebrating in 1 week......in California!!!!
