New Addictions

Ok, so last night I watched the end of American Idol...which we all know is my drug of choice. But what I found out was that I LOVE House. Now I'd seen a bit of it here and there, but never really watched it. And I kinda liked what I'd seen before, but knew nothing about it, so didn't watch. Well last night got me hooked. Then after that was over at 9 I flipped over to NBC, where normally I get my Law and Order fix. SVU is my favorite of all Law and Orders, but it had been replaced by Coviction last night. And now I've decided that I am quite fond of that show too....so now I've gone from having a show on Sunday and American Idol on Tues and Wed..and then Thurs. night line up...so before that was 6-7 shows that I'd watch on a regular basis. Well now it's Crossing Jordan on Sunday, 7th Heaven on Mon. (this doesn't really count cause it's going off the air), American Idol and House on Tues, American Idol on Wed, The Office, My Name is Earl, and ER on Thurs, and Conviction on Friday...not too mention the reruns of Crossing Jordan Mon-Thurs on A&E, if I'm still awake at 10pm. Yeah, so this is all the excitement in my life at present....and it saddens me

The only 2 shows that you watch that I also watch are American Idol - which I didn't get to see this week dammit - and ER. How was American Idol? Did Chris do awesome as hell because I know that they did Queen songs this week and that's just his kind of music?!

Jen doesn't know what she's talking about, Conviction rocks!

I agree it is kinda silly that they "don't do deals" and take everything to trial because in reality like 90% of cases end in plea bargains. HOWEVER, I like how they don't glamorize the DA's office, because they really are underpaid and overworked, hence why in most big cities they are all young, because older lawyers want to be makin' the cash. I also like how they show that everything isn't always black and white when it comes to crime and when it comes to how an attorney feels about a case. A lot of times on the show the DA feels bad about putting someone away or what they have to do to get the conviction...and I think that is most certainly true in real life. Not everyone deserves to go to prison for a long time, but as a lower DA, you aren't allowed to make that call and you want to keep your job.

I also think its funny how they show show stupid new attorneys can be.

Anyway I like it!

Did everybody but me pass over the fact that Cassie, you watch 7th Heaven??? IT'S SATAN. Just kidding...my roomies and I watch it every now and then because we like to get all angry at it and yell and then say we have to watch it again next week. I hear Jessica Biel is actually coming back for the Series Finale. Hell must be freezing over.

I totally agree that the show House rocks! I love it. It's the only show I'll tape to watch. It cracks me up though that the residents do everything...you gotta love tv!
